The Wisp Light is a hanging peninsula, forged of sand like iron shavings from the forge of long forgotten gods. The magnetic sand is harsh, from its erratic polarized sandstorms, to its caustic rusted rivers, and its exceptionally lethal ecology.
In the era of new gods Wisp Light became an area of communion for the Tower Arcana. The Tower is an enigmatic celestial entity, manifesting itself in this world as an architectural jellyfish that silhouettes the sky of Wisp Light. While the direct nature of the gods are unknown, one thing is certain. The tower is an unjust patron, the cost off its power takes a toll on the body and spirit, and it does not give without sacrifice.

Maintaining their power is costly for Gun Witches, losing control means losing themselves. If they lose composure, they sacrifice their body and mind and transform into a Beldam Polyp. A feral, mindless thrall of the tower.
The tower offers a choice; leave freely as you are, with the dark wisdom of your journey as a lesson. Or, sacrifice who you love most, and realize a potential in yourself that you could have never dreamed of.
